Hex Detex™ - Surface, Soil & Water Testing

Hex Detex™ is a rapid, easy to use field screening solution designed to detect the presence of hexavalent chromium (CrVI) on surfaces and in soil and water samples. Ideal for industrial facilities, environmental professionals, and remediation teams, Hex Detex™ helps identify potential chromium contamination in equipment, work areas, soil, and water, supporting preliminary site assessments, routine inspections, and environmental investigations.

Each box includes one container of solvent, one container of powder, and 25 testing swabs. The solvent and powder are mixed to prepare the testing solution. When used according to the appropriate testing procedure, Hex Detex™ provides a convenient way to screen for potential Cr(VI) contamination in a variety of applications.

Easy to use, single-use test pens designed to detect the presence of hexavalent chromium on surfaces. Each HexChecks™ pen contains the materials needed to perform one individual test, making it a convenient, ready-to-use option for quick spot checks, periodic inspections, field evaluations, isolated testing, and post-cleaning verification.

HexChecks™ is available in convenient 10-pack boxes or bulk quantities of 500 tests. The smaller pack is ideal for limited or occasional testing, while the bulk format supports frequent inspections and ongoing contamination control programs at military installations, aerospace operations, maintenance depots, production facilities, and other industrial work environments.

A versatile solution designed to treat surfaces contaminated with hexavalent chromium by chemically converting hazardous Cr(VI) into the more stable trivalent chromium form. Available in portable spray bottles, gallon containers, bulk totes, and bucket quantities, Hex Buster™ supports applications ranging from workstation cleanup and spot treatment to equipment decontamination, facility-wide cleaning, planned maintenance, and large-scale remediation.
