A rapid, easy-to-use screening solution designed to detect hexavalent chromium on surfaces. Hex Detex™ helps facilities identify potentially contaminated tools, equipment, work areas, and other surfaces so appropriate cleaning and decontamination measures can be taken. 

Each box includes one container of solvent, one container of powder, and 25 testing swabs. The solvent and powder are mixed to prepare the testing solution, allowing multiple surfaces to be screened using the included swabs. Hex Detex™ is well suited for routine inspections, field evaluations, maintenance operations, and broader surface-testing programs where multiple test locations need to be checked from a single kit.

HexChecks™

Easy to use, single-use test pens designed to detect the presence of hexavalent chromium on surfaces. Each HexChecks™ pen contains the materials needed to perform one individual test, making it a convenient, ready-to-use option for quick spot checks, periodic inspections, field evaluations, isolated testing, and post-cleaning verification.

HexChecks™ is available in convenient 10-pack boxes or bulk quantities of 500 tests. The smaller pack is ideal for limited or occasional testing, while the bulk format supports frequent inspections and ongoing contamination control programs at military installations, aerospace operations, maintenance depots, production facilities, and other industrial work environments.

A versatile solution designed to treat surfaces contaminated with hexavalent chromium by chemically converting hazardous Cr(VI) into the more stable trivalent chromium form.
