Engineered for performance. Built around your operation.
Explore completed VES projects supporting aerospace, defense, and industrial operations across the country. Each spotlight highlights the equipment, engineering, and field-proven solutions we deliver to help customers maintain safer, more efficient, mission-ready facilities.
Pittsburgh IAP Air Reserve Station – Coraopolis, Pennsylvania
VES completed a comprehensive facility upgrade to support C-17 aircraft maintenance operations, including new paint and blast booths, a breathing air system, NIOSH-compliant personnel air shower, HDPS equipment, and Dust Migration Mapping services. All systems were installed, tested, commissioned, and supported with operator training.
Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake – Ridgecrest, California
VES completed a fully modular harsh media blast booth designed to support continuous blasting, recovery, reclamation, and dust collection operations. The system included a single-operator blast machine, cartridge dust collector, pneumatic media recovery, adjustable air wash, and safety-focused design features.
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst – McGuire AFB, New Jersey
VES completed the removal, delivery, rigging, installation, and training for a new aluminum-oxide blast booth system. The project modernized blasting operations with improved media recovery, HEPA filtration, dust collection, operator safety features, and an in-grade real-wall media recovery trough.
Textron Aviation – Wichita, Kansas
VES completed the removal, replacement, and refurbishment of an existing wheat starch blast system for continuous soft-media blasting operations. The upgraded system included a below-grade recovery floor, two-operator blasting capability, heavy particle separation, HEPA filtration, and automated PLC controls.
New Jersey Air National Guard – Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey
VES supplied and installed a semi-downdraft paint booth engineered for efficient painting and curing operations. The system featured galvanized steel construction, ceiling intake airflow, NESHAP filtration, a direct-fired air make-up unit, and automated touch-screen controls.
P1035 Corrosion Control Facility – Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia
VES provided advanced paint stripping and corrosion control equipment for the NAVFAC V-22 Osprey Corrosion Control Facility. The system supported aerospace surface preparation with media recovery, high-density particle separation, dust containment, ventilation, and integrated safety features.
Tobyhanna Army Depot – Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania
VES designed and supplied a 15'W x 10'H x 30'L blast booth engineered for aggressive media blasting applications. The system included insulated panels, wide-entry equipment doors, advanced media recovery, centralized dust collection, LED lighting, and operator-friendly controls.
Ike Skelton Training Site – Jefferson City, Missouri
VES provided a drive-thru blast booth system designed to support paint stripping and surface preparation operations for armored vehicles. The system included full-floor media recovery, dust collection, HEPA filtration, a personnel air shower, and a heavy-duty booth configuration built for high-demand military maintenance environments.
US Army Arsenal – Watervliet, New York
VES completed a large-scale CrVI decontamination project across a 150,000+ sq. ft. facility, including Dust Migration Mapping services and monthly follow-up monitoring. The project supported safer facility operations through controlled work zones, HEPA-filtered negative air units, and continuous contaminant tracking.
